  • Before serving, let the ice cream sit on the counter for 5 to 10 minutes to soften slightly.

Notes

For a chocolate version, add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder during blending. If you prefer a firmer texture, use low-fat cottage cheese. If using a Ninja CREAMi, blend the mixture until smooth, pour into the pint, freeze solid, and then process according to your machine’s directions.
