Ingredients
  

Croissant Sandwich

  • 6 mini butter croissants
  • 18 slices smoked turkey breast
  • 3 slices Havarti cheese ½ slice for each sandwich
  • Romaine lettuce

Mayonnaise spread

  • cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoon sour cream
  • 3 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • pinch black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon, and black pepper, then set aside.
  • Cut each croissant in half and toast in the toaster on low heat.
  • Generously spread the Dijon mayonnaise on both halves of the croissant. Now place the bottom croissant half (cut side up) and add 3-5 slices of turkey breast, half a slice of Havarti cheese, and a small piece of romaine lettuce. Then top with the other half of the croissant.

Notes

Toast the croissant to avoid sogginess. Don't overload the sandwich to maintain its structure and flavor. Use fresh and crunchy romaine leaves for texture. Make extra Dijon mayo for other uses. Muenster cheese can be used as a substitute for Havarti.
