  • 4 fillets fresh tilapia
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Pat tilapia filets dry with clean paper towels.
  • Place tilapia fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, rubbing it all over the fillets. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Move the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  • Enjoy right away, ideally with steamed green beans and herbed potatoes, or cut the fillets for fish tacos.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Tilapia is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
