- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese divided

Cooking Instructions
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken in the prepared baking dish.
Stir together cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl until combined. Stir in ½ cup of the Cheddar cheese, bacon, ¼ cup of the green onions, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly over the chicken.
Bake until chicken is done (165 degrees F or 74 degrees C) when tested with an instant-read thermometer, 25 to 30 minutes.
Top with the remaining ½ cup cheese. Bake until cheese melts, 5 minutes.
Garnish with remaining ¼ cup green onions.
