Dough

  • 1 can (8-count) refrigerated crescent rolls

Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese fully softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 full lemon zest of

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream (for thickness)

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add lemon juice, lemon extract, and zest; mix until thick and glossy.
  • Unroll crescent dough triangles and place 1 heaping tablespoon of lemon filling on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up from the wide end, gently tucking in the sides to keep the filling inside.
  • Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake until deeply golden and flaky.
  • Whisk powdered sugar, lemon juice, zest, and milk until thick but pourable.
  • Drizzle glaze generously over warm rolls so it melts and drips beautifully.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat cream cheese for a creamier filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
