Ingredients
  

Chicken and Noodles

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts sliced
  • 200 grams noodles (lo mein or spaghetti)

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth

Garnish and Optional Ingredients

  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the chicken into thin strips and prepare all ingredients.

Cooking

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch until smooth.
  • Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked.
  • Add vegetables if using and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  • Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir until it thickens.
  • Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot.

Notes

Cook noodles just until al dente to prevent them from becoming too soft. Use high heat when cooking chicken for better flavor and texture. Add a splash of water when reheating to keep the noodles from drying out.
