Bread and Toppings

  • 3 slices whole grain bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic cream
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes whole
  • 3 burratas small
  • 1 pinch Espelette pepper to taste
  • basil leaves for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with finely chopped garlic. Bake for 10 minutes at 190°C.
  • In a pan, pour a drizzle of olive oil. Add brown sugar, balsamic cream, and whole cherry tomatoes. Cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes are well roasted.
  • On the lightly toasted bread, place a small burrata and spread it on top. Sprinkle with Espelette pepper to your liking.
  • Add the roasted tomatoes, basil leaves, and finish with a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy immediately!
